Well, the first pip is still just a pip. The second pip this afternoon hatched within a couple of hours. One more pipped this afternoon but that is all.

This is a banty but not sure the breed. I was given an assortment of pure breed eggs. This chick is silver in color with a dark stripe down her back. The pink flamingo is her foster mom until the others hatch.

Well, some good and bad news. My first egg that pipped ended shrink-wrapped.

The good news is that one more hatched today.

The little blue round thing in the right photo is a cap to a milk jug. Tiny.

Awww. Great pics!! Congrats!! My duck eggs are due next Sat. I am really nervous they are not gonna make it til' then. All the air sacs are messed up...they are looking like they are running out of room in the shell.
