Set eggs today 4/21 Anyone else?

Just set 20 eggs on 4/22/11. This is my fourth hatch of this year. Eight SLW and twelve New Hampshires from the Doug Akers line that sold so high back in Feb. of this year. Best part is I got them free. I'm really excited over this hatch! Good luck to everyone.

Well candled yesterday, day 9, and tossed 5 of the shipped eggs, all duds! I am down to 3 of the wheaton Am. eggs. My broody also had an egg break, but I had cracked one before I gave it to her and forgot about it

, so it may have been that one. I haven't candled hers, I will do that before they are due to hatch. How about every one else? Have you candled? How are your hatches going?

I candled last night. All of the shipped eggs look great, - except maybe one, that was kind of dark to see through. My own eggs, however, all were clear except one. This is my second attempt with this rooster. I guess he is either bad at mating, or has very low fertility.

I candled mine yesterday too. Some infertile, some good, some not sure. Bought a new incubator. Will post a pic of it soon. Little more modification to do.
