Hey I am getting ready to put some in tonight!!! 1st time at it too!!!!

i just se them the temp 5 mins ago read 101.5 so that should be ok right !. i got the pachage . I ee twoo dominique , i leghorn and two dominque roo on ee hen eggs. YAya.

The temp is getting there. Im so anxois i kepp opening the bator up.I final closed it and wont open it up anymore.

lol JK. If it has eggs in it you need not to open it. If you have a thermomiter in it and it reads 99.5-100 its good. Do you have still air?

yeah still air but it reads 96.5 . Tommorw i'll just turn the dial on it ( its a type of lamp that has an intensity dial ) up a tad bit to get it 2 100 degrees . Bu theyll hatch at 96 degress even if they stayed there the entire hatch. I even cravings for salad btw. Which is WEIRD !!! do guy hatchers get cravings while incubating.??

I just put my second batch in yesterday, they are due the 17th also.

I have some EE's, BR's, and some SLW and New Hamshire Reds, some of which may be crossed with other breeds. I have a total of 37 eggs in! My first batch was 24 eggs, 8 werent fertile, 13 out of the 16 hatched.

And 10 of them just left yesterday to their new homes.

I have 2 thermometers, and they both say different things too. I just kind of go for a temp in between the two, it worked for the last batch.

i love igt. I got the temp to a place where it wont get above 103 but no lower that 99.9 Its fluxuating between 100.8 and 101.7 i think it may get between 102.9 no more but thats ok cuz then theyll cook i even made a video two actualy i'll have to post on youtube.com real soon.

My temp went down yesterday do you all think the babies will be ok? i have it back up though. Oh and im having eggs for dinner!!! lol
