Set more duck and chicken eggs

Ooo!!! Congrats on your goose egg!!!! My Pilgrims arent due until the end of this month, if any hatch.
I have tuxedo coturnix quail hatching now, 7 out so far.

I have to go disinfect a couple incubators when I am done here.
Starry, muscovey, blue swede and runner, WOULD be an interesting mix!!! Hope you keep us updated.

My little goose didn't make it out of the shell.

Oh nooooo....

I am sorry about your gosling.

I hatched seven out of eight eggs last year and ended up having to help every ONE of them out of the shell, or at least pull what shell I could away from them without it starting to bleed. I know people say DONT help, but if I hadnt they would have died in the shell. They were all healthy babies so I am uncertain what the deal was with that.
Okay, 9 coturnix babies out, actually 10, but one didnt make it. The bobwhite quail wont start hatching for a few more days.
I have three of my ancona duck eggs hatching today, keeping an eye on the others but so far no activity.
I got my white cochin eggs and will be putting them into the incubator tonight.
I would gladly post pics if you can tell me HOW. Everything people have told me to try hasnt worked. But then I am quite technologically defunct.

I've been following your thread, but haven't posted until now.
WOW - you've got all sorts of hatching going on, don't you! I thought I had the hatching bug bad!

My Columbian Bantam Cochins are hatching NOW:

And I had some ducklings hatch last week - Runner/Hookbill crosses - I had to help one little runty guy out of the shell:

I had one of the little quail pass away.

I know it happens but I never have to like it.

Annarie, of the 14 chicks I hatched this week, several were black cochin bantams. I will have to google Columbian because I am not familiar with that color? I HAD wanted to get some lavender cochin eggs but have my hands pretty full. I have some mixed eggs coming to test in a fixed up incubator.Also coming, Silkie eggs, chocolate pheasant eggs and more duck eggs that have been given to me, some from a BYCer and some from my aunt. I hatched her out a ton of baby ducks last year and she is reaping the rewards now,lol.
Lets see,already in the incubators....four Pilgrim goose eggs, six Indian Runner/Blue Swede eggs, a couple Aracauna eggs and a lot of bobwhite eggs....
Thats it for now, I THINK.
Oh, I do have a couple of presales I havent heard from yet, blue bibbed call ducks and texas blue scaled quail.
Yeah....I am a hatch-a-holic but love every minute.

Like my family says, I could be doing much worse things!

Annarie, I SO want some of those duck eggs(especially the hook bills) but have to hold off for just a bit.

Not that I WANT to!

Sorry about your quail, and good luck with everything else hatching! I'm not going to have much time on my hands for the next few weeks, since my chicks are hatching now and my ducklings from Holderreads shipped out today!
