Thank you for all the awesome pics too. I can't wait for mine to start...it's all so exciting!!!! So I'm curious what everyone is going to do with their new chicks...keeping, selling? Not sure what I'll do with mine yet. I might keep 1 or 2 and then sell or give the rest away, not sure yet. Guess it all depends on if they even hatch, right? LOL!!! Putting the cart before the horse again

I'm holding steady at 99.8 F and 60% humidity for now, once the humidity drops under 60% I'll add more water and keep going. Good luck with the rest of the eggs that still need to hatch.

Mine went on lockdown last night. I removed the turner and the egg dividers from the bator. I did candle and some of the air cells seem small, but we'll see.

Loving the pics of the new fluffy butts. They are so cute. Congrats to all of you.

Day 22 and my DH just called me and said another egg is hatching.

YAY!! I have another hatching too...one more and I'll have a 100% hatch rate. Tomorrow is really hatch day and the one I'm waiting on is a big egg..so I'm hoping to meet him tomorrow! Still 3 EE in the bator to hatch Sunday.

Four Bantam Cochins and 1 Silkie so far on day 21 for 6 of the 7 set. One Silkie and one Bantam Cochin to go and the Cochin has already pipped. I hope Silkie #2 is just slow for my daughter's sake.

Well it is day 21 and so far 22 out of the 29 have hatched. I think i have 2 that are not going to make thou.

Thank you for the fluffy butt pics!!!! They're so cute, good job!!!! I'm on day 20 and nothing yet for me, guess I don't have any that want to come out early. They're probably going to make me suffer and wait the whole 21 days. On the flip side my house is nice and clean and I'm getting all kinds of stuff done just to tide me over till they come, AGHHHHH!!! You should see me, I'm in there every 5 min checking for pips...my DH is right, I'm crazy.

Well The person that I got them from has a mixed flock. There are no specific color groups so it is a surprise on what you may get. He has some of the prettiest birds I have seen. Here is his website if you want to see some of the adults.
