Set on 2/4...who's with me?

This little incubator is full of shells and chicks, and I only had nine eggs. I can't imagine how they would all fit if it were truly full! I can't see the remaining eggs well enough to know if they're moving (independently of chicks running into them) or pipped. Yesterday was official hatch day for me. I'm going to leave everyone in there until this evening, and then I'll take the chicks out and leave the other eggs alone for another day or two.

I have two chicks hatched, three more have pipped. One of the nail polished ones is pipped

!!! I also have one hatched and one pipped under the broody. so I am doing pretty good this time around!! I still have 8 that havn't done anything yet, but they are still rocking. My day 21 fell yesterday evening, and my temps were just a hair low, so today and tomorrow should be lots of chickies!!

I know that is what happened to me, cupman. When the first hatched I hadn't lock down and had pips in like 5 eggs but had no chose, since I had to take turner out, I too had to open it. I did help 3 that were stuck to the shell. I'm glad I did one was only minutes from death.

2 black chicks from the banty eggs under my broody so far! I set on the evening of the 6th but figured with a broody and being bantam eggs, they might hatch a bit sooner and work with the 2/4 thread.

Momma was not happy when I picked up one of the chicks. It's her first time (and mine) and she's doing great!

2 hatched, 10 more to go...
