Set some eggs just now, due date 20th July.... anyone else setting just now? Hatch-Along

make sure there is humidity just stick a wet paper towel blob in there...the air cell on the shipped eggs always looks like that and they very often need help because of it.....if you tap on the eggs while they are up to your ear do they chirp or tap?

Oops.. its already at 70... If I'm not mistaken, for assisted hatching, you'll need to increase it a bit more, if you pipped for them maybe increase it to 75% unless Heidisgran says otherwise, she has more experience than I.

has there been a time when your temp dropped? that would delay the hatch...if they aren't internally pipped then there isn't a lot you can do because they do that when they are ready to breath....if you can see the chicks in the ones you opened and they aren't moving then they are gone!
If it were me...because of the stress to myself....I would pip one of the others...take little bits at a time...if you come to blood stop blot it until it stops and put it back...good news is you'll know it's alive...but you'll need to keep watch and wet the membrane every little bit...if you don't come to blood just keep going at least you'll know then...you'll probably end up assisting every few hours peel a tiny bit more as long as it doesn't bleed until it's hatched

Thank you guys so much for hold my hands through this. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I'll keep posting updates and fretting and askong questions... I hope for at least 2-3 more to make it.

My butt is glued to the incubator. I think I'll let them be until tonight and maybe check again if I don't see the eggs moving. They are welcome to take as looooong as they want as long as they live!

When I opened up my assisted hatch it looked like the eye was open, it was hard to tell under the inner membrane, but it was actually closed! Don't give up hope just yet
