Congrats to everyone with little babies! I'm so happy that this is going well for everyone . I have a question that will probably make me look dumb but if I can't find the air cell that means they've broken into it correct? I thought I had 2 pipping on the wrong end so I took a look inaide just now and in 4 of the 10 eggs I can not find an air cell anymore. Please tell me this is good news.... my first chick hatched yesterday morning and therr has been nothing since then, I'm now in day 23.
In the other 6 I see an air cell and a tiny gap between the chick and air cell. No movement..... I'm pretty sure I heard tapping in 2 of the all dark eggs. I'm guessing the bacteria growth means death?
at this point if it were me I would open the big end of the egg....start small if you see blood stop wrap it in a warm damp paper towel...leaving the hole exposed...and put it back....if you don't see blood open it slowly so you can see if it's membrane has it trapped....you'll be able to tell if they're alive and you'll know...if there is no blood and it's alive help it hatch slowly! in case you come across blood...I'll be waiting to hear how it goes....if the dark ones are internally pipped opening a hole will help them breath....but try to see if they're trapped in the membrane
