Set some eggs just now, due date 20th July.... anyone else setting just now? Hatch-Along

Great news! Assisted hatch is out

It sensibly waited until it had absorbed all of it's yoke and is now resting.
I think thats that for my hatch 3 hatches and maybe 1 more to come is a longshot, though!
Will post pictures of the assisted hatch, thinking of setting another batch starting tomorrow?
I am going away for 2 weeks so I won't be tempted to touch and my incubator can do the work

Congrats on the assisted hatch! Glad it's doing well. I also am going to keep my bator going as soon as these kids finish their business. My mother sent me home with 11 fertile Buff Orpington, Ameracauna, and RIR/New Hampshire eggs yesterday. I'm still waiting on 10 more to do their thing in there. Fingers crossed.

, back to back just like me! Join the Aug. hatch - a - long thread!!

I found another pip! He has pipped on the bottom of the egg. He got part of the shell off but not the outer membrane. I positioned him correctly. He's chirping and moving around in there. He's also pipped a little too low for my liking. Almost halfway down. Of course, some of the eggs had a funny air sac too.

i'm just wondering if that egg on my picture looks ok or is that circle round it a blood ring. if you cant help dont worry about it. thankyou :D

That looks like veins and an embryo. If you watch closely over the next couple of days, that small black spot will be dancing around in there. Assuming they do the same as the chicken eggs.
