Set today, Sept 28th. Anyone else?

We set our very first incubator full last night-so I guess that counts as todays!

It sure does! Hope your sebrights do well, they are such funny, quirky little birds. L'Roi, my roo, does the mating dance for me when I come to the hutch. He's such a good natured little guy, and not nearly as flighty as the girls. I wasn't able to get a golden roo this past spring, so my two golden girls are making do with L'Roi. Or perhaps, L'Roi is making do with them?

I'm going to wait the full seven days. It's been a long time since I've candled an egg (well, other than this morning before setting, but that was just to check for porosity and cracks), and there are tons of great "7 day" pictures available online to which I can compare and contrast what I've got going on.

I *say* day seven ... we'll see if I can truly wait that long.

Yep, that's what I'd like to do too. I wasn't able to wait the last time...did the first on day 5. Fight the urge!

I set about 45 barnyard mixes hoping some of which will yield me some olive eggers! First incubator. Can't wait to see how things turn out!

Day 5 is what I did last time. Really want to try and hold off until Day 7. Couple more day
