Oh and craigslist.......some people got thiers from sellers on craigsist.....you might find one you can go pick up around you

You can buy it on ebay,incubator.org and reptipro website....you can also call reptipro to see how quickly you can get it.....there is a great tread here on BYC about the unit and the older unit the 5000.......great info.....I decided on mine from reading that tread.....and I have great hatch rates even hatch Seramas that are supposed to be hard to hatch. I saw someone hatch emus out of one.
Well priced for a smaller unit too that looks very attractive, I keep mine in the house so my friends who don't know chickens can see what is going on and my 5 year old can see the progress everyday

Think I'll b gettin one....just mite have to put my Phoenix eggs with my others when they get here....
& then transfer my barnyard mix to the Rept. at Lockdown.
(since I take them out of the egg carton & place them in the coffee filters on their side anyways)

A BYC member told me it took them 12 days to get theirs!!
Just hope it all works out for the best!!

So which is best??...5000? r 6000??

Get the 6000 it has an updated stronger fan...and more space inside

Leela...you'll love it....I haven't hatch in 25 years (i was a kid) and had 75% hatch rate with shipped eggs on my 1st try...really even temp/humidity

So I'll have to get the GQF 1200 Brooder out of the barn to set up for Lock down...so I can still turn my Phoenix eggs in the GQF 1202 incubator,
since they wont b here til next week.

Told him "its only $200 bucks & we could take the GQF to RAZ Auction to sell next month"
But he did promise me I would get it next month!!

Candle my eggs last nite & marked the air cell....sum r real tiny for just a few days!!

Found 2 with cracks...had to toss them....down to 28 now!!
