We have a red star rooster, and a ameracauna rooster, hens are barred rock, red star, white leghorn, sussix, silver laced wyandotte, ameracauna, and rhode island red. I think I covered them all lol. Good luck with your hatch.

Good luck to you dusterbd! I hope you hatch some babies! Keep me updated please! I am getting carried away with these eggs lol. Named them already! Haha

chick4chicks-I havent had much luck either! The first time I hatched we got 6 of 36! One was deformed and I think 2 were roos! The 2 hens are twins and good layers
We have been over run with broodies this year No luck at all so far. They keep cracking the eggs so they are no good. One hatched only 2 chicks out of im not sure how many eggs! Currently have 4 or 5 broodies so far okay...Two are probably getting at least one baby and not sure about the others

I also set o n the 27th ,, 22 from my own yard mixed , rir cuckoo marana roo and rir hens , astrolop x rir and black stars x rir ,, first run on my handbuilt incubator . good luck all

I am about to put 10 eggs in the incubator. They are all shipped eggs, 4 golden laced wyandottes, 3 wheaten ameraucanas and 3 black copper marans. My last hatch produced 6 super cute chicks (out of 19 eggs!!!). Not a great hatch but they are super sweet. They are all Barred Rocks but looks like at least 4 are roos (not sure about 1). I am aiming for 6 hens so here we go with round 2.

I have an LG still air. Trying to be sure the temp is right before putting the eggs in. Hatch date is July 19.

Good Luck to everyone! Hope you all get some chickies!

ga_goat-Good luck on your homemade incubator!

perolane-What kind of bantams are they? Mixed or a certain breed?

Gosh chickenlover54- That's alot of eggs!!!!!!!!! Do you breed guineas?? You must have a cabinet incubator right? I want one of those! Imagine all the biddies!!

SportChick-Good luck with yours too! Escpecially with shipped eggs. Never tried it before I am hopefully going to get some duck eggs one day maybe after the chickens. I have a Hovabator something I forgot lol
