Setting 3doz eggs tomorrow 8/11!!! Hatching buddies???

I don't think i can wait any longer

.... I have been really good till now...trying to just leave the bator alone and let the days go by... aarrgghh!

BUT really it is only one week to go...and I am busy all weekend so that will help...then I am going to lockdown on Monday afternoon after work... unfortunately I have to work late on Thursday till 7:30pm so i won't be home till after 8!!!! I hope i don't miss alll my babies hatching... I am even thinking about taking the day off then go in for the meeting in the afternoon...

I can't wait to see everyone's pics next week...

Lockdown is next Wednesday for me! I'm so nervous. I think I'm looking at 1-3 chicks max out of 24 eggs....

I have babies!!

An EE hatched yesterday and I got the entire thing on video. I've named it Uno and it'll stay with me forever since it's my first ever chick to hatch.

Then this morning I woke up to a baby Cochin and a Blue Andalusian

6 more are pipped and I'm hoping they'll be hatched when I get home at 3:30

9 days and its hatch day

my temps are steady 100 and humidity at 45%

and i let the quail out in the run and there loveing the open space

Shayna and farmgirl forever-- I'm there with you! 7 days for my chickens and 14 more for the turkeys.

Dweggg--maybe they will hatch early!! They often do!

Last night was day 14; I got up the courage to candle for the second time; Pulled 6 eggs.

Clears and blood rings for sure. 6 turkey left and 10 EE

I reviewed the log book this morning: the temp has fallen by 1 degree for the last few days. I closed one large vent. Rechecked at 4 pm. It's 86 degrees !!!

I checked it over, the bulb is not doing it's on-off thing. DId the bulb blow? Where's the spare? THen I notice the surge protector--it's OFF. Ah, there was a blip earlier as I recalled. Push toggle to ON, and all is well again.

My last hatch, hatched 3 days early. Not this time!
