Setting (Again) April 16th-18th...

Hi guys.

I set 49 eggs yesterday (April 16th) at 5pm!

What's in there:

6 Buff Orps
6 Speckled Sussex
3 Rhode Island Reds
3 Barred Rocks
2 Easter eggers
3 Olive egger test eggs, could also be Ameraucana depending on which Roo did the deed!
3 Lavender Ameraucanas
4 Wheaten Marans
3 Cuckoo Marans
1 Blue copper marans
1 D'uccle cross w/ bantam Ameraucana
1 Faverolle cross w/bantam Ameraucana
1 Bantam Cochin cross w/bantam Ameraucana
1 Silkie - father could be silkie or Tolbunt polish
5 Sizzled Leghorns

Variety is the spice of life you know!

There's more but I can't remember! Will post later.

I have been trying to greet all the new comers but have been busy buying more chickens, just what I need.

I just threw in some chicken eggs this morning. My ducks went in on Thursday.

i just candled tonite. all my eggs are clear. last hatch i waited til day 11 but that was because i didn't have my candler yet. these eggs are much easier to see through and i see nothin. do i leave them in and check in a few days? i really wanted some of these chicks. only have 3 girls from first hatch.
