~Setting chicken eggs Sept. 7th.~

Another chick out, but he turned a pipped egg over and that one drowned. 4 pips in other eggs. I'm definitely trying the cupcake paper trick for the next hatch - too many drownees.

But I have a live one!

OMG OMG OMG I may finally have a living breathing baby chick hatch today. The first 4 drowned. This one is peeping, and tapping. OMG and I am now at work. This is so exciting. I can't wait to rush home. Hope he comes out today.
 
It's like a bowling alley in there! I may have to try the cupcake deal too, but not sure it would stop these maniacs!

I have 13! One of the eggs I didn't think would hatch but stuck in there anyway hatched this AM, so I won't be trusting my opinions much anymore, I do have one that has died for sure...

Just wanted to check in! My house is full of people and I have about a million things to do, BUT i WILL get some pictures and check back in later today.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! Can't wait to hear how everyone makes out!
