Setting Eggs 12/27 Anyone else?

I candled tonight and saw the baby move, wow it was exciting! Im really hoping everything turns out right. I have one egg that will be hatching alone but will have little sisters close behind. My hatch day is the 15th

Awe thanks! I wish you tons of luck too! Im sad that my BF didnt get to see the egg today because he got called to work for 10 days. This is our first hatch so its a bummer he's going to miss it, but thank god he is working, there will be more hatches later on.

I candled and threw out 34

. But had 31 keepers

. As for the turkey eggs I didn't see anything in them but will keep them in for a few more days just to see.

I candled last night, too!! I just love to see the babies growing!!

It was so sweet, a couple of the chicks were putting their sweet little feet up to the shell, I could really see them!! It reminded me of ultrasounds while I was pregnant with my girls.

So cute. WOW. Only eight more days!!

I am sorry for those who have pulled so many duds!!! I went through that last year. Set 48, and only 7 hatched kind of thing. We will see how this batch does. So far I am 10 for 10 all looking good, but last time I had 4 make it to lock down and only 2 hatched.

You just never know. I hope I have a good hatch rate, I am trying to perfect my hatching because I am going to teach Embryology at 4H camp this summer. I am going to set eggs every couple of days and take them in with some hatching daily during camp. I only live an hour from the camp, I can take the eggs down the night before, and be all set up. I think it will be so much fun, and they don't do this in schools very often now days. Very few kids get to see this and it is such a miracle every time. I plan to do this in my classroom once I am a teacher also.

I can't wait to see what the new BYC looks like!! Catch you all in a couple of days.

What exactly do you mean about going into lockdown?
