I did a last-minute-before-lockdown candling of some of my swedish flower hen eggs last night (yesterday was actually Day 19, but I had deliberately delayed lockdown by a day). I was checking for adequate dip down of the air cells, but going that several had already internally pipped!!! I was NOT expecting that yet... Because of the few I saw, I did not candle all 33 since I didn't want to screw up any of the internal pippers. Today is Day 20, and I have DH on watch duty since I'll be home late tonight - but I'm hoping they don't actually hatch until tomorrow though because I'll be home most of that day. Fun stuff!!!

yippeee!! seeing the internal pip is SO cool!
I like to wait for internal pip too.. once I see the i.pip then I increase humidity. up until that point, they are still losing water weight / evaporating. day 19 here... soo anxious..

My incubator got to 117 so all of my 80 eggs are dead, its a shame because it was day 19

The only scary thing is the bator got to 107 and thats without joking! Yeah well, I'll have to see. Otherwise I'm going to TSC
