Setting eggs 3/15/14 - Who is with me?

Should I risk opening it up to pour some water in it? The humidity pump is just dumping water in there but the humidity just won't budge! The one pip I can still see a little beak in the hole, every now and then it pushes a little bit of shell away, the other little cracks haven't changed since yesterday. I thought kidding thirteen goats with many of them being triplets was stressful, this is right up there!

Woke up to one JG hatched (looks like a blue but she hasn't dried off yet), another JG zipping and two more pips ( JG & Fav). I will get some pics after we get back from taking the dog to the vet this morning.

My current temp is 99.0 and humidity is 60%.

Good luck everyone - this is IT :D

I'm such a fool, I looked on the other side of the incubator and noticed it was open like a quarter in. Guessing the cat was fooling around with it, since there's something moving in there, humidity instantly jumped up to 57%. Just hope I caught this in time!

I put a cat 7 dog ban on the room where the incubator is - this is my first hatch and I figured I was perfectly capable of messing it up without four-legged assistance ;) I bet yours will be fine!

I went in and removed the shell and membrane on the last phoenix egg that had pipped last night, wrapped it in wet paper towel and found it running around with siblings that morning.

The lone partridge rock egg got the same treatment this morning, it's beak was right in the middle of a web of veins. I was able to open up a hole without to much blood, now I wait.

None of the d'Anvers made it. They were all really wet and died before absorbing the yolk.

If I had to judge based on fertility and development I would say no. They did have a thicker shell than the phoenix, both type came from the same seller. If I order more I will run them dryer, closer to 25/30% rather than 30/40%. I was not expecting this they looked so good.
