May I ask where you got your welsummer eggs? The ones I have in my incubator now are shipped from a BYC member in Georgia.

I purchased my welsummer eggs from a byc seller under the hatching eggs section. He is out of Arkansas. He was great with communicating, packaging was awesome as well. And I guess the pics of the chicks speak for themselves. I am extremely happy with my purchase!

Hope you have a great hatch as well! What day are you on?

It's been an exciting morning. Last night I had one pip, the top-most egg in the photo. This morning the 2nd lowest egg on the right had a pip.


And the top egg that pipped first was the first one out:





This one's still working on it.

I hope the rest hatch too!

Wonderful!
After candling yesterday, the growth in the last week is amazing. 23 of 30 still going strong.
Come on babies, we need more pictures.

I think one of mine has quit after pipping. No progress over 24 hours.
I have two other pipped eggs though.
5 haven't done anything yet.
And my one chick is still looking cute in there.

I hope it's just waiting to make a grand entrance with the other two. My first hatch was pretty spread out, they were shipped eggs.

I've had 4 hatch but one died....still have several more that pipped.
