Do you have a fan in the incubator? The fan brings some problems of its own, but it helped stabilize temperatures for us.

I have a circulating incubator, but for some reason the temp hasn't been stable. It'll be in lockdown on Tuesday so hopefully the incubator will make it.

Congrats to those who have new babies! Mine go into lockdown tomorrow :O Time flies, and this hatch is pretty exciting since so far, all 11 are still thriving! I am hoping to have 11 teeny little Serama babies in a few days

Whooo! Pictures??

I was adding water to the incubator this morning (I drape a paper towel over the edge with a bit hanging outside, so when I syringe water onto the part that sticks out, it wicks away to the inside so i don't have to open the incubator

) I stopped to put my ear down... and sure enough I heard quite a few little "taptaptaps" going on in there! So excited!

So far I have 7 Easter eggers, 6 Blue Laced Red Wyandottes.
My next batch of chicks is going on lock down today.. Copper, Cuckoo Marans and some more BLR Wyandottes.
It's so excited hearing how everyone is doing.... Keep up the good work

Lockdown is tomorrow evening for us. We're building the brooder tomorrow. I picked up a new feeder and other goodies at the feed store. My little man (almost 4 months) was totally into watching the little chicks at the store. It will be fun having chicks again.
