Setting eggs, anyone want to join me? Hatch-Along

Just candled the two eggs I thought had died, and one is still developing!!!!

The other, has a blood ring around it though.

Still though, can't wait for it to hatch!! It's due in "eggactly" a week!!

Day four on the 14 eggs, and I candled a couple last night, and didn't see anything.

I don't have a very good candler, so maybe that's it.

can someone help me please my broody hen doesn't have her broody spot as they call it the bare spot on her anymore and she keeps trying to leave her area and leave the eggs there but when she got out she was attacked by all the young roos and everything went nuts it was a war down there but she acted like she had chicks with her outside but the eggs still have a couple of days to go

I don't recall my broody ever having a bald spot... I had to put my two broodys in their own brooders, separate from each other and from the other chickens. One of them was (and still is) awesome at staying with her eggs, but the other was always getting off. It helped to keep her on her nest... It's worth a try...

6 days left for my "dead" egg!!!

Mine are due to hatch on the 27th, 6 more days...I can't wait to see what colors I am going to get.

My seven day candle will be this Friday. I didn't set fourteen only thirteen. Edith laid a double yolker yesterday and It didn't go in the bator but the fry pan instead.
