Setting eggs August 2 -- anyone else?

Hiya!
I set 3 splash/ blue OEGB eggs under my broody RSL the 2nd. I just candled them and I'm not sure if they're alive or not.

Can you guys help me out? https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/696499/3-day-old-eggs-quitters

I'm really hoping for some chicks!
Good luck to everyone else, happy hatching!

It's kind of early to tell for sure. Around the 9th, you'll likely see signs... sometimes it can take up to ten days. The rings you're describing in that link don't sound good, but you may as well give them a while. I hope all goes well.

I am totally agree with what you said, but my English is poor, sometiomes I don't know how to express my feeling,I just want to make some friends who can help me in my English and share the happiness with each other.

I can't speak for anyone else here, but I always just pay attention to what is being said and try to understand it. I'm pretty new here, but have felt welcome -- I hope you do too. If I can help in any way, let me know.

It is day 5 and I just candled her two white eggs (the rest are brown) are both looked good. I'm gonna wait until day 10-14 to candled the others.

I'm pretty sure that is spam. The links led to a foreign gaming sales sight. She posted 4 times within 45 minutes to various threads and not one comment had anything to do with the thread or current conversation.

I have 6 going in my new beginners incubator, 3 dark 3 lighter coloured ones.
Candled today and all 3 of the lighter ones have spider veins already, will have to wait longer for the dark ones. Really happy with the new incubator didnt see veins before with my home made one!
Very exciting

I'm having kind of a downer day, trying to decide how to deal with my rooster (he's been injured for quite a while and is decidedly not going to get better...), so I am probably going to cave in and candle a few eggs tonight.

Glad you're seeing positive signs. Really cool when you see a "heartbeat" (or whatever it is). It's hard to stop candling when you start seeing stuff going on inside.
