I've read if the temp is low, they hatch late. If its high, they hatch early. Anything happening???If the temp has been a little low will it just take the others longer to hatch? Or is there anything to do about it now???? This makes me nuts!!!!
Oh so sorry, that is terribleI lost my little black chick, it never hatched, so I broke open the egg and inside was a gorgeous little black silkie. So sad, something must have happened after the 18th day...because it was moving and then....nothing. Darn.
What are you talking about?I myself am cursing Debby. Starting a whole new thread for that if anyone is interested. Have about 12 hatched. Not sure if the others will or won't cause of Debby.
Okay I thought cause i opened the bator they got shrink wrapped and they barely moved. They were making no progress. I guess they were just resting as they are starting to zip. One (Which is the one I thought was shrink wrapped) is zipping very slowly. A different one is moving much faster. I think they are okay now.Caylee why exactly do you think they are shrink wrapped? Have you read the forums on such. Yes opening the bator is the cause of shrink wrap as it introduces a large whish of dry, cool air. But everytime you open the bator doesn't mean that they get shrink wrapped. Tell me the symptoms you are seeing concisely in one post if you don't mind.
