I candled again tonight and lost 2 more shipped eggs. So sad they make it this far then die. Lockdown on Sunday can't wait.

Yes that is a bummer! I usually leave any questionable eggs from here out. I have only pulled 3 clears of mine so far! I am hoping for a good hatch!

I candled my eggs today and only 1 out of 18 is growing hope you guys have better luck than me

Crazychickens09: I'm pretty sure, they had veining and movement few days before then the veining disappeared and movement stopped. They dont seem to be filling egg just a blob in center. I left them in for now and will check them again before lockdown on Sunday. I checked again today and looks like another 3 did same thing. This week seems to be dragging I just want the movers to hatch already!!!

Yeah its sounds like they are gone...I'm sorry I just lost four babies a few weeks ago and they were day twenty. I didn't open the eggs because I knew what caused it so no point.

I have 1 egg it's kinda oblong instead of normal shape like the others. I've been looking at candling pics all day and all show eggs fuller around this time no space on bottom. And I know the eggs get fuller and harder to see threw towards lockdown but this 1 egg has the airspace on top, but I also see space at bottom that if you shine light threw you can see chick is in middle. Is that normal for day 17 or could it be behind the other eggs or will it drown when it goes into lockdown tomarrow? Some of the eggs have little spaces at bottom but look full, but this one has the size of the airspace at top on the bottom also, kinda like the chick hasn't filled the egg. The chick is still moving so hope all is ok. Anyone else have this happen?

I think it will be okay if the chick is moving thats a good sign.

I don't know how many I have going to lockdown, I've been adding eggs and have 3 hatch dates. I started mine on the 9th, last time I candled all my olive shipped eggs were doing good.
