Hello every one....
My sister an I put in 12 more ebay BLRW in on the 21st! So we are looking at June 11th or 12th. This is my second hatch. It is a LG but she bought a fan for it... I'm so excited! I have a coop built for them already for when they hatch.

White eggs are MUCH better! My barred rock laid brown eggs, so candling those has been a pain, not as bad as marans, but still a pain. My bantams laid white eggs, so seeing things develop is much easier! I candled last night and tried to get some pictures, but the camera wasn't cooperating so I didn't want to keep the egg out too long and just gave up on the picture idea.

Alrighty I did a mini cull today because I smelled something.

I had a bad egg weeping so it and two clears went over the fence. I see wigglers in almost all of the others, and some veins in others. Doesn't look to good though.... I'm thinking my LG might of cooked some of them

I'm down to 2 Buff Laced Polish

My temp has finally evened off at 100.4 on top and 99ish at the bottom of the bator. Is that ok or to high/low for still air? My humidity is 45% had a spike up to 50% when we had a storm.

My olive eggers are to dark to really candle! But I'm starting to see more in my green EEs.

I candled again today and I pulled one. It quit I think 2 days ago. So I now have 4 bantam eggs that are moving right along.

I also set 7 of my own hens eggs yesterday morning. BCM x EE, so Olive Eggers! After a little over 36 hours it looks like something may be going on in 2 of them! My BCM roos just started breeding my EE hens a week to 2 weeks ago. So I just grabbed the first eggs laid yesterday and set them to see what would happen!
