Anyway, I originally thought two of my chicks had pasty butt but now i'm not sure what exactly it is...

Last year I had a couple with pasty butt and it didn't look like that,it was dried up looking poop. Yours look like their just healing up from absorbing their yokes & stuff. I would just keep and eye on it and not panic.Tomorrow they might look perfectly normal.They are amazing little creatures , there's nothing like the miracle of life, and just how resilient they are.

Did their butts heal up and look normal today? They all look very nice and healthy in the latest pictures you posted.
