yessss.....I truly only needed a roo for darkening all my eggs to some extent but to have a breeding pair would lighten my life I have something Im going to attemp to try with colors

I candled my giant frizzle cochins today, still 7 of 7 due feb 4 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have some 7 day old eggs in there also not a perfect score but some had a really rough ride.

Hi Amy, I didn't make it to work today. I couldn't believe how slippery it was this morning. And now the winds are acting up. I would like to skip the month of Feb.
If they all hatch, not likely I will have 20 chicks next weekend and another 12 2 weeks later. I think my DH is going to make a brooder shed for me. But I have a person who wants to buy half of my existing flock; 7 of my BO, both of my BAs and some EEs.

Hello, it's Alex. I went to bed early and woke up because I remembered that I was supposed to candel my eggs tonight! Tonight is day 14. 4 of the eggs have baby chickens moving around inside. 1 egg looks like it is growing but it wasn't moving. I had to throw away 3 eggs that didn't grow. Only 4 more days until they go in lock-up. I know it is really called lock-down but I call it lock-up to make my mom laugh. She says it sound like they are going to jail. I will write more on day 18. Good night.
