When everyones hatch is finally done- please post results

How many eggs did you start with?
How many were shipped-yours?
How many losses to blood rings?
How many losses to clear eggs?
what day they started pipping?
How mant days until the final baby was hatched?
How many made it to the end -pipped then passed?
How many live chicks are present and accounted for?

I just want to make a little chart to see patterns so maybe we can follow it and what to expect during certain times of year -certain breeds etc...

When I left for work, there were 17 babies .. 2 eggs almost completely zipped .. 3 more pipped. Even my egg with the detached air cell has pipped .. eeeeek!

I did get a chick last night that is dragging around a bloody blob. Placed a folded paper towel down and put him on it to keep it from falling through the wire.. It seemed to be losing blood. I really thought it would be dead this morning.. however, the bloody thing is much much smaller this morning and chick is still alive .. so we'll see

Other that than one, everyone seems to be strong and happy.

This hatch has been AMAZING .. it's the first time I've seen the whole process .. one thing that surprised me was the smell .. it is that familiar smell of BIRTH. The same smell when whelping puppies .. or foaling horses ... very familiar, but I just didn't expect it with hatching eggs .. don't know why..

Can't wait to get home .. they are already asking people to leave early today .. I THREW my hand up!! LOL

Got up this morning to 2 d'uccle chicks, another one zipping, and another one pipped. Also have 1 BLRW chick, and 5 more pipping!
