setting eggs on Thurs. Hatch date Feb 4th-who's with me??

Haha I need more girls too--Im looking at those 20 3 1/2 week old chicks in kitchen and Im not lying when I say I bet 13-15 are roos--the redness is overwhelming dang it dang it dang it!

I cant complain because with my first hatch I got a boy and a girl, the second hatch, 2 girls and a boy. So thats not too bad right? lol I think I just have to put in a whole bunch of eggs next hatch. Then maybe I'll have a better chance of getting some hatched and getting more girls lol.

We have 8 now! They are popping out like little Ninjas!!

I did have to open the bator .. one little smarty was standing up on the eggs and pecking at the heating element ...

I had to move the cartons a bit to give the little ones that have hatched a little more room ..

yes -lots of eggs for next hatch! I have 1 doz silkies-2 olive eggs( my girls quit days ago:-( ) standard cochins and eggs in the mail amaracaunas and frizzled polish oh AND BBS orps and or BBS standard cochin eggs holy cow I have alot going in-then I have another hatch planned after that and that should be it! Ouch!!! DH is going to die!!

Started with 8, 6 went into lockdown last night, all the air cells were huge though, I guess that breed doesn't like the "dry" incubation method! Here's the parents...

And the one I hatched from them last year...

Right? me too...I just looked in bator and I need to practice what I preach..{patience} I know nothing is going to happen tonight on day 19 because of how low temps ahve been in the last 24 hours SO Ill just sit back and start being patient until tomorrow night
