Congrats to everyone on their hatches!! I had a hatch too. 10 eggs. 9 went into lockdown and 9 hatched! 6 hatched on the 2nd and the last 3 hatched a day later for whatever reason

Just 1 that looks weak and is questionable. And I have 9 more going into lockdown tomorrow!! The LS aren't nearly as fun to watch hatch as the BLRW cuz they all look the same but they sure make a cute fat little fuzzy butt!

Ok guys Im home now due to being ill to the tummy from the meds bleah...I have 1 out but its yolk sac is NOT absorbed and humidity was at 37% wanted to die..So I had to open bator and put hot water in 65% and 101.2 right now 4 still pipped..One of my silkies died I can tell:-( Just absolutely still but pipped has been like that since yesterday:-( The one thats out is a jubilee orp---I hope it makes it but I dont see how it is going to absorb that huge yolk sac outside the egg:-(

Yay! I'm so glad my hatch went well ... it would have really sucked the winds out of my sails if I had problems.. I did lose the two of the chicks I had to help yesterday .. I think they were a little oxygen deprived by the time I got to them..

I also have another marans chick that will probably be dead when I get home .. small weak, I put him back in the bator to get him away from the bullies..

But I guess that's all to be expected sometimes ..
