Setting Eggs Sept. 24th-Oct. 4th-Last Hatch of the Year. Anyone care to join me?

Curious: What do you plan to do with all your new baby chicks?

I don't know to whom you are addressing this, but we are keeping a total of 6 of ours (if they live). The rest are being shared between two forum friends, and they are both excited.

Edit - I removed the water I had placed in there. The humidity was up for no more than 30 minutes or so...going to do as planned and raise the humidity on day 18.

Mine go to lockdown today, got the brooder out and scrubbed out yesterday, will get it set up and ready to go this weekend. Will get the chick starter monday, so will be ready for the new babies when they start hatching on wednesday. No matter how many batches of eggs we incubate, it is always exciting!
I go into lockdown Sunday night too. Getting very antsy. Once they go into lockdown the next few weeks are going to be crazy around here with chicks hatching every week.
