My first shipment was so much better with the hatch rate. I'll still order more eggs from her and try again, because I think the quality is so worth it!!! I think Cindy had an even better hatch rate than I did with 6 live babies out of 12 if I remember right. Cindy is that right?
No I started with 2 dozen assorted and I am down to 16. Only 1 Porcelain egg out of 3 that she sent has made it this far.

oh dear! I just went to get my broody from the garage and put her on the grass for her morning poop and scratch around and I didn't notice that one of the eggs was caught up under her and it dropped on the cement and broke open....yes there was a fully formed moving chick in there but I couldnt help it as the entire egg had smashed...it was a paint chick...

No I got the date wrong...thank goodness I wrote it down somewhere...lockdown is tomorrow and hatch day is Wednesday....can't believe I did that...it was clearly a little paint chick and was moving but anyway I can't even think about it I'm so sad...

She now has 8 eggs left 5 buff and now only 3 paint...oh but I just put another paint broody in the garage with 4 of her own eggs...lol

I have put my buff, splash and one paint pen all back together now for winter so no more hatching after these...oh I do still have one paint pen going but that is only because to keep that roo separate from the other Roos...

Oh no! That's right...your boys caused havoc on your eggs...all of them I thought...I'm so sorry for that...what a disaster... I don't know what I would have done to my kids if they had done that...lucky they can still walk!

I hope you get a couple of survivors...

i got 7 left i dug outta the brooder. oh they got what they had coming. and now there is a chain lock on the door. I hope just 1 even hatches out just to prove my kids couldnt kill it. I did set that 70 last thurs tho, and building up a stockpile for this thursdays set
