Yes the humidity will rise up but that is when they are hatching. The moisture from the chick and egg makes it go up. I will raise it a little bit when they start to pip to keep the membrane moist but you have to be careful not to raise it too much because the unpipped eggs may get too much moisture and drown.

Nope, I cracked it last night.. rotting. Pretty much what i expected. One that hatched was what i would consider undersized as well.
It's a deal! I may have white ameracaunas too. I think I have figured out a better way to pack the eggs. I am going to try to putting them in these containers and taping it together with painters tape. Then putting the eggs in the middle of the box surrounded by shredded paper or peanuts...whatever I have around the house. What do you think?![]()
