What humidity is everyone going to aim for...for hatch?

Mine too! Even during the recent heat wave the humidity stayed at 45% without ever adding water. Weird.

Thanks for the ETA people, I think Loopy is 2 days ahead of me and Alaskan is 1 day behind and Amykins... your no longer sure so I can't tell where we sit

and Compton, mine are due inbetween your broodys and your bators!

So that means mine went into lock-down this morning (I quickly candled them - all moving, said a prayer and gave them a kiss each!!) - still adjusting the humidity with wet rags - aiming for 70-80%. Temp has gone down though with the addition of the wet cloths. Pffft! More fiddling!

I was just thinking lucky for these girls I will be at work, so I have to leave them alone and then realized, oh hang on that's my day off!

Compron: probably going out of town is the best thing you can do anyway.
Alaskan: I aim for 65% for hatch for chickens. Its hovering 63-65% now. Nothing to report here though...no pips, no peeping...

2 of our eggs are already pipped (3 hens are sitting and their hatch dates are all around the 11th-13th)..
