I candled my eggs! I did it super fast though because I was afraid of shrink wrapping the babies! I woke up this morning and the humidity in the incubator had dropped down to 29%!!! I quickly fixed the problem but do you think this will cause the chicks problems when they hatch? Lockdown begins Friday and the humidity messed up this close to lockdown! We had the windows open most of the night last night and it actually got pretty cool so I think the humidity dropped in the outside air. The humidity has been staying around 40-50% with the windows open so I haven't really had to add water at all. Just a tiny bit here and there. The candling went very well! All12 eggs are full of baby chicks and I even saw one moving around a little! The eggs are so full though, I'm sure they can barely move at this point! I'm so excited and I'm hoping this is my best hatch ever!! The most chicks I've ever hatched at one time was 7! I'm hoping to beat that this coming up Monday!! You'd think hatching chicks would get old, but its like Christmas every 21 days!![]()
Agreed!
