I am right straight across the state of Idaho from you to the border of Oregon. We live on the border looking in to Oregon to the West. It is still quite a ways from you. Wish it were closer.

So who all is staying up? I just made a cup of coffee, it is raining here and is quite peaceful...well except for the chirping of that lone little guy. It is willing its hatch mates to come out and play. Another has a pretty good hole going,it does not appear to be zipping around, but making a hole bigger and bigger. When I just checked on them I noticed another pip. So exciting.

LOL I live in Oregon and can see across the river into the border of washtington =P I hope im not staying up I have had insomnia really bad the past week and it would be nice to get to bed befor three am and get more then 3 hours sleep .

I am up for a while. I want to put this little new one in with the other one in my little brooder before I go to bed. I don't have room in my bater for egg shells, eggs and chicks. I know you are not supposed to open the bater but I always move them over as they hatch. I do it quick and it doesn't take anything down too much. My genesis has more room and I wont do it with it. I have eggs in there right no to hatch next week at this time. I don't know why I end up with them always hatching when I need to go to the art guild. I need to work on that. LOL

We have a river too. But where we are it goes in to Oregon. It is hard to keep track of the border when it does that. We have a road that is called State Line Rd. So we know where the border is. LOL

Hope you can get some sleep. It must be bad to have insomnia. I seldom can't sleep. Some times I will wake up and have a hard time going back to sleep but have found if I take a tylenol I can usually go back. I know it is strange but it works for me.

I hope you get some sleep too. My dear hubby is fast asleep, snoring and drowning out the sound of the chirping. lol We have the incubator on a dresser in our bedroom because this was the best place for it, where it wouldn't be in direct sunlight and could be monitored easily. I have to say, I have enjoyed having it in here and checking in on the eggs and now the baby often.

The Brinsea incubators don't offer much room for hatching, but that little guy is not fluffed out yet and I don't want to open it tonight when there are so many that have pipped, I don't want them drying out. Plus it would go to the brooder alone. :(

I am just finishing the coffee, so I am sure I will be up for a while. It is just now midnight, I can stay up for at least another hour...hopefully there will be two by then.

Well, I think I will toddle off to bed. I have not more pips and both babies and snuggling together so I will hope for the best and no doubt look in on the bater several times during the nite.

Happy hatching to you all........Micki

If I had some pips I will stay up too. But as it is I will try to sleep for a while then get up and check. Mine is in the computer room and a ways away from the bedroom so by the time I walk into here I will be wide a wake but it has to be that way. Good nite for now. And hope you babies all hatch out.
