Setting eggs Today due 3/11, anyone wanna hatch with me? We got chicks

Hope everyone's hatches are going well.
Here's what I have so far:
out of the 8 silkie eggs , I have 2 chicks and 4 pips and 2 doing nothing
Out of the 2 eggs from my hens, I have 1 chick and 1 egg that hasn't pipped yet.
How's everyone else doing?

All is quiet in my bator. No pips or tweets.

At lockdown, I put a new, re-regulated hygrometer in the bator and found out the one I have been using was recording 10% under what it should be. So for the first 17 days instead of 42-47%, it was 52-57%.

I filled both channels of the Eco20 and it has been holding at 55%, 99.7-100 degrees F and the vent wide open.

Do you think I drown the chicks with the initial high humidity? Guess I'll know by Sunday......

Adding to the bad news, a bunch of silkie eggs arrived today and half were busted. And then I went out to collect eggs from my Wheaten Marans and #7 hen started growling at me! I moved her to a quiet spot and this evening put 6 silkie eggs and 3 Marans eggs under her. She seem very happy after I put them there. We will see what happens......

OH my gosh! SO AMAZING. Look at that little foot.
Ok, I have one batch of eggs in a borrowed LG with a fan. I have a horrid time with the temperature and the humidity is all over the place. I am on day 15-16. We put the eggs in the LG on Tuesday the 23rd. We will lock down on Saturday afternoon.

Can someone help me with the lock-down process? So far, this is what I understand:
1.) fill up the bottom of the LG with water for high humidity, over 50%?
2.) Take eggs out of the turner, lay eggs on side with big butts slightly up?
3.) put back in thermo/hydrometer.
4.) do not open until hatch???????

What if there is a pip and zip, or just a pip...then nothing...can I help?

We also have two silkies on eggs that should be hatching Sunday(14th) and Monday(15th).

Sorry, I joined late...I missed this string. Thanks for any advice, it is our first attempt at all this.

Tweets @midnight, pipped @ 1, and @ 2 my first chick, a black copper maran!

Another BCM and 2 SF are pipped and one silkie is rolling around.

Once the chick was out of the shell, she was making a racket, chirping, knocking silkie eggs about.
So I had to pull'em, yep, broke that cardinal rule and opened the bator. oh well.

I closed the ECO20's vent and it took 5 min to get back to temp and humidity is @50 and holding. I am going to half open the vent over night.

I put the chick in what was suppose to be its hatcher, but it got here after lockdown, so it became a bator for some silkie eggs, and now the chick is playing with those eggs in another room. Gosh, it's late, I'm going to bed, but I hear tweets coming from the bator....

I awoke at 7 to the chirps of a 3 very active chicks, 2 SF and 1 BCM They kept playing kickball with the silkie eggs so I had to open the bator and removed them to the holding tank. Trying to fall asleep but I hear another one hatching....

I have 6 of my 8 silkies hatched but no pips on the other two eggs.
and 1 of my hens two egg as hatched and on is still silent.
The one that did hatch from my own eggs is a cuckoo marans xEE cross and the other is a cuckoo maran egg.
Continued good luck to you all!
