Setting eggs tomorrow, anyone want to join?

Gross on the tarantulas...I would get them just so I could squish them and feel like I had done something great for humanity.

I thought someone had said that they were trying to up their humidity, I'm a little late to post because I thought I had already posted where appropriate but I lost where that was and I don't feel like searching.

That was me. My humidity had dropped to like 10% and I wanted to get it back up to around 30%.

We have 3 goats (the two does are ready to kid, a horse, 2 dogs, 2 cats, I have no idea how many chickens (mixed flock which free range, Black Australorps, Welsummers, Ameraucanas in their own coops), Bourbon Red turkeys, 2 hens and a tom, (with one each Narragansett and Holland White hens we picked up to add to the flock), two African Geese (and a newly hatched gosling of theirs) and two baby tarantulas.
It's a good thing the tarantulas don't need more than a looking in on daily!
Sounds amazing! I just rehomed my horse of nine years...we couldn't afford to keep her...

My husband is planning to get turkeys this year. We're thinking either the bourbon reds or royal palm, but haven't quite decided if he wants to just get some to raise and slaughter or get a pair or trio to raise their own young...we'll see.
I only have five chickens total right now, but hopefully these eggs will hatch and I'll add more

Some from my sister who has RIR with an Australorp rooster.

Well I tried candling...all I could see was well nothing...just the inside of the shell and a really small air cell at the top. A largish dark part below the air cell, but no veins or anything...then again I was just using the flashlight on my Iphone...so probably not the best. I hope there's something happening in there.

I don't like chihuahuas, but I wouldn't want to hurt one...but if I saw one carried off by a hawk I wouldn't be too upset by it.

That is pretty much what I see in most of my eggs too.

It was me saying I had water in now and it was only 35%, and was wondering how I would get it up for hatching. And Thank you for telling me how, amount of surface, not amount of water.
