Setting eggs tomorrow, anyone want to join?

I'm so frustrated that I can't see into any of my brown eggs...I wish I knew what was going on in there! My D'Uccles are developing fast though...the embryos are double the size of what they were 24 hours ago

On those eggs hard to see through I hold the egg in my left hand and gently tilt the large end where the air cell is to the right and place my led lite on the air cell. You can see so so so much better!

I tried that, my shells are too dark, lol....I'll just have to wait it out. My D'Uccles are doing great and are moving around alot!!

Hello I hope I can join in I set eggs on the 11th. I am using a different incubator this time, borrowed from a friend. I have about 28 eggs set, took one out that showed a blood ring and another that was clear. I threw in a big mixture from my own girls, plus some white cochin crossed with BLRW and silver laced wyandotte from a friends birds. Plus one black copper marans, 1 leghorn cross and one Olive egger. My hatch date should be sometime on Easter Monday if all goes well.

So at the end of day 7 I have 8 swimmers!!

4 Maybes, and 7 I really don't think so...I will give those til day 10...if I still don't see anything in those eggs then I will discard them

Just candled. I set 10 and 9 were fertile last check. The only one in question was a very porous olive eggs, and I can now see veins!!! This egg is very hard to candled so I am HAPPY HAPPY. I am 10 for 10. Now to get them all to hatch!

When I candle I see a dark spot and that is all. The shadow of the yolk...so are my eggs no good? I don't want to toss then if there's a chance, but i want to get some eggs going that will work
