Setting eggs tomorrow...Prayers & good thoughts appreciated!

My 80 year old (this month) mom wants me to have some Buttercups here for her when she visits. This will be my third attempt to hatch buttercups. All your good thoughts and prayers are appreciated! The previous two have been busts. These eggs are sure to be the winner, though!

Mom just left for home -- while she was here, my porch pullet (RIR) started to lay, and Mom would wait for her to have her egg for breakfast every day. They developed quite a bond! It was cute to see mom shoo the mean roosters away from the porch in Bitsy's defense.

Cute story about your mom. It reminded me of my grandpa. He had to stop eating egg yolks (mean doctors, lol) he wouldn't eat "fake" eggs so he'd feed the yolk from his morning egg to a neighborhood crow. That darn crow would be waiting on the railing for his breakfast every morning.
