Setting eggs week of 10/1

I think they say to candle again at 14 days... I would probly leave them till then, candle and if theres no change then take them out... Maybe its just to early to tell for sure!

Ya I am going to leave them in for now. I was just really happy it atleast see three eggs with a chick clearly moving around inside.

My last hatch didn't candle very good. I had brown eggs and had trouble seeing anything. I would smell the eggs as I candled to check for rotton ones, but I left all the eggs in the bator for the full incubation period, plus a couple of days. My eggs just looked like dark blobs, no movement or veining, and some were clear. I ended up with 8 of 14 hatching. This hatch I got a new battery in my flashlight and I can see a lot better through those brown shells, lots of movement, veining, I'll take pics when I candle again.

We candle tomorrow! Im so excited but nervous! When i turned the eggs this am i had trouble getting the bator back to temp... I try to do it as fast but it seemed to effect it more this time.

Ok well its good to hear that maybe there is some hope that I will hatch more than three out of twenty four eggs. I probably wont candle again I will just leave them in the incubator until hatch day.

We candled last night....!! Im excited to say that out of 19 eggs there was only 1 that was questionable! All but the one was clearly moving around in there! Neatest thing I have ever seen!

Wow that is really good a lot higher fertility rate than mine

miscounted my days and should have candled tomorrow but I don't think anything would have changed. Don't know how these pics will turn out one is clear the other 2 show something.
