Hello - I'm hoping for some help this morning. We drove around yesterday collecting our hatching eggs here and there and getting ready to set the bator this morning - Genesis 1588, and of course we are missing parts! This was my son's Christmas present and his grandad helped him put it together and then hubby threw the box away, so I don't know if there was anything left in there or not.
We are missing the plug, which I figure I can find something to stick in there, but the moisture tray is gone. Can I just put something in there with water? Should I just order another tray and cut my losses with the eggs we've purchased? I can set some under a broody hen, but not all 32!
I know we won't get a good hatch if there is too much moisture and it's humid here on the coast anyway.
Any advice?
