Bator: Brinsea Eco 20 with autoturn cradle
Set Date: June 7th, 7 a.m.
Stop Turn: June 25th
Due Date: June 28th
Temp: 99.8 at egg level
Humidity: 35% to 65%-70% for hatch
Plan to candle days 3, 10, 14 and 18. I do not always candle that often, but I have some eggs that are older than ideal and want to keep a close eye on them.
My second run in my Brinsea. I have raised the temp a bit since my last eggs hatched a day or two late. My digitial thermometers read 99 at egg level with the Brinsea thermometer reading 99.5 at the top on the last run, so I am going to bring it up to 99.8 at egg level and hope for an on time hatch with no problems. Really did not have many problems with the last batch except with a few of the latest hatchees but would like to see things happen on time this time.
Setting 40 eggs early tomorrow morning:
18 seramas from my flock
3 fawn old english bantams from my Papaw's birds
8 blue red old english bantams half from ours and half from Papaw's
11 red gold pheasants from my Papaw's birds
