Not trying to steal your thread but 1 of mine has hatched so far.

Congrats for the hatching eggs ...hmm none of mine have hatched and I think I put them in earlier too.
Note to self do not incubate during freaking weather events ie really hot weather and really wet weather that causes power outs...

i'm happy enough to get 2 whites, and a few tuxedo. wasn't expecting much other then pharaoh since the eggs i put in there from my "breeder" cage had JUST started laying when i started this hatch.

disaster has struck at 5am!! I have been keeping a vase full of water with a pole in it to extend the heat lamp higher to get right temps. well i GUESS that vase wasn't heat sensitive, it cracked and leaked 3/4 of the water into the brooder half the chicks are soaking wet, its 5:30am i got all the paper changed, heat lamp fixed, can't really "dry" them off so i'm hoping for the best, i got it right after it happened so i know they havn't been standing in the wet for to long. just want them to dry off within an hour D:

switch my heatlamp setup as well, zip-tied the dowel rod to a chair lol, need to get just a regular stand for it :/ oh well, it'll have to work for now.

cleaning day, they are about a week old, everyone has made it thus far, here some new photo's

this is everyone in a 10gal fish tank while i clean the brooder

new brooder, finally got some wood shavings and no more food piles on the floor lol

everyone in their new brooder

i'll get an update shot of my fav. he's gonna be a penguin

I like those 2 little gold chicks in the back center and in front of the waterer on the left! I can't wait for mine to get here. I've got a 7'x3 1/2' solid floor hutch to put them in. The walls are mostly solid with a 6" high strip thats covered in both 1x1 welded wire and 1/4" hardware cloth. It also has two holes cut in the top for heat lamps.
