Setting my eggs tonight (April 10) Any tips?

Ive not given up...I went to the bathroom where the bator is (easier to keep humidity up) and one of my brown eggs is rockin....maybe we'll see a pip soon. So I wont have an orphin baby...

What do you think he/she is? A greyish color...with a black beak black and yellow feet

Is there such thing as a lavender easter egger? My Easter Egger chick (marshmallow) is getting her wing feathers in, and they look lavender coloured........

I don't tink it's blue, it is a purple-ish / gray colour... and has small, cinnamon coloured tips on the feathers

odds of having a lav ee is extremely rare as we only just started making that color in ameraucana. From someone that has lav and blue I can tell you that you probably have a blue, they look pretty similar at hatch.
