setting my maran eggs on april.12 i need some hatching buddies!

starting my second try at incubating! setting them in thee AM on the 12th of april and Lock down will be april 30th! so if your looking for a hatching buddie for these days Im here!

Great! I'm setting 12 banty ameraucana and 6 banty d'anvers. All expensive eggs (potential show quality), so I'm a little more than nervous that I don't mess this up too much.

How was your hatch rate with your first round? What kind of incubator are you using? I've made my own and am trying to get the right temp and humidity right now.

Im using a vintage Brower still air i like it better and a homemade one and my first hatch i put in 17 at lockdown and hatched out 13 as for my homemade incubator i used bubble wrap on the inside and out cause i used a very thick cardboard box and put a bowl of water at each end with a couple of spounges,and a handle on each side of box with a small computer fan hanging in up above where the eggs are so it dont get to hot cause im using a 250w red light on top of box with hole cut out fr light and a window on other side for me to see in. didnt have very good humidity in it till i put the bubble wrap now i can get it up or down to what ever i need it to be. i put my eggs in the homemade 1 when it came to lockdown​

Hi destinydot6!!!

I just set 2 dozen maran eggs this morning for a friend of mine. This is the first time I have ever hatched maran eggs.
I will be watching and waiting right along with you......
