My broody has hatched 8, one started to zip and died, 4 were clear (includes one she threw out early on -- all from one hen that I wanted chicks from the most), 1 is pipped and chirping and 2 others that have dark masses (but, hard to tell with my flashlight if they are chicks). I'm hoping by this afternoon to know what the final count is.
It doen't look like my black Jersey Giant is the father of any of them so far.
