So I set 38 eggs on Tuesday, so I am just ahead of you. I guess mine are due to hatch on the 13th. Glad to find a hatching thread!!
I have 13 W/BWA, 5 GCM, and a few designer mixed breeds from Mahonri, 7 FBCMs and 7 Welsummers from Bargain.
I have a homemade incubator that was working beautifully until we put the eggs in.
Now, the temps are wonky and for who-knows-why the temps are different on each side of the bator. Sometimes the temp varies by 4 degrees in just 12 short inches. What is up with that!? I had the same problem with my last hatch which didn't go well at all. I only got 6 chicks out of 25 eggs. I thought I had the bugs worked out, but as soon as I put those eggs in there, it is just all over the place again. I am really getting upset!
I am going to post a thread for help with my thermometers. Who knows which one to believe!
