hi everyone.

I'm on lockdown. Couldn't candle well because of dark eggs. I hope I hatch at least 50%.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

Now comes the really hard waiting!!!

And the pips just keep on coming!!! I am happy to see so many... I have ONE egg that since yesterday I noticed a small pin hole looking spot on it but i can't see it well enough to tell if it's a pip or just a raised bump on the egg, like a calcium deposit or something.. So, I guess I will just keep on waiting... For most of the day I can keep the humidity around 68%-75% but there is about a 4 hour span in the mornings (I'm not sleeping very much!) that the humidity drops to about 57%.. I'm hoping the poor things don't shrink wrap! I'm on day 19 so I'm

... Every once in a while I take a screw driver and gently tap on the glass.. i guess I'm hoping one of them will knock back.. rofl!! Am I the only one who is this insane?!?!? I can't be!! I just CAN'T be!!!

Will post updates as they happen! On another note, either tomorrow or thursday, i will be going to get my golden comet and buff orp chicks...

I'm hoping to be knee deep in chicks by thursday!!

hey goddess, you are not the only insane one

I was tapping on the glass of my incubator last night in hopes of getting a response!!

my husband just sat on the couch and gave me a funny look

Sadly I report, I did not get a response! It is absolutely killing me to be at work and not at home with my eyes glued to the incubator! I sure hope I have something to report tonight or tommorow morning!

These were of the first pip I saw.. Then I got back up and there was ANOTHER PIP!!!! I tried to get a picture of that one but the pic came out even worse and you couldn't see ANYTHING! I GOT PIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
