I give up. I'm sure my eggs are toast. The incubator is at 95 one time I look at it and the next time 105. Back and forth 95, 105,95,105.
I think I'm bailing on this hatch now.

ChickenCanoe - How far into it are you? Do they have an odor? I wouldn't bail just yet unless they have an odor. Ya never know what your luck will be like until you give it a shot.

I checked my 13 eggs the other day and it looks like at least 12 of them are fertile. And I don't see any luck coming from these Polish guys. I found out too late that they are going to be next to impossible. They have gotten the boot quite a bit for going at some kids (which to defend them but I think they were threatened by the kids). And they're handled kind of rough. They are mostly held by their feet upside down. They are still very skittish and I'm told that won't change. And I've been told they will hurt my sexlinks so I think these guys will have to put down. Any input on this?

Well, Im on day 5, and so far so good! Phew.. Candled a half dozen and all those are developing.. We are using our homeade incubator, and I couldn't be happier with it! We put a hot water thermostat in it, so it keeps it at the right temp.. Going to invest in a turner, or make one next time though.. 36 is a lot to turn!

That stinks that you can't get it to change. I mean I guess it does matter how long it has been happening. Only thing I would say is keep it seperate somewhere else for right now where you can try to spend some one on one time with it to get it to feel comfortable with you. I know thats what they say to do with cats and dogs that were treated bad. Get it comfortable with you first, then try with your other pets.

Can I still join? I just set 57 test hatch eggs... my first hatch so I need help and support. I don't really know what I am doing.
